Two children were injured in two separate Colorado Springs auto accidents, according to the Denver Post.

A 2-year-old suffered head injuries when he was hit in a Colorado Springs auto accident in a car wash parking lot on Academy Boulevard. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Charges are not expected to be filed.

The second Colorado Springs auto accident occurred when a 4-year-old crossed the street in front of his house near the intersection of Rio Vista and Trout Creek Pass. The driver has been ticketed for exceeding reasonable and prudent speeds for road conditions and careless driving resulting in injury.
